The Cyber Security Cluster of Excellence – CYSCOE is the Cyber Security Partner of the FACTORY 4.0 Conference 2026, the Industry 4.0 conference for Central and Eastern Europe, which takes place on 7 October 2026 at the NORD Events Center by Globalworth in Bucharest.
The conference brings together technology leaders, manufacturers, researchers and public institutions to discuss the latest developments in manufacturing technology: artificial intelligence, robotics, energy, quantum technologies, workforce skills and, increasingly, the security of connected industrial systems.
Why cybersecurity belongs on the factory floor
As factories connect machines, sensors, cloud platforms and suppliers, the attack surface grows with them. The convergence of operational technology (OT) and IT means that a cyber incident can stop production lines, damage equipment or disrupt supply chains. Our role as Cyber Security Partner is to help put these risks, and the practical ways to manage them, at the centre of the Industry 4.0 conversation.
