CYSCOE Leadership Contributes to Moldova’s Cybersecurity Strategy Through E-Governance Academy Workshop

Alexandru Anghelus, President of the Cyber Security Cluster of Excellence (CYSCOE) and CEO of Prodefence, recently participated as a cybersecurity expert in a specialized workshop hosted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova. The event was part of the Moldova Cybersecurity Rapid Assistance initiative led by the E-Governance Academy (EGA).

The workshop focused on enhancing Moldova’s national capabilities in cybersecurity governance, incident response, and critical infrastructure protection. It brought together international experts, government officials, and institutional leaders to develop actionable frameworks for improving cyber resilience.

CYSCOE’s Expertise Represented Internationally

Although CYSCOE was not officially part of the organizing structure, Alexandru Anghelus’ participation as an EGA-affiliated cybersecurity expert reflects the cluster’s influence and recognition across the regional and European cybersecurity landscape.

His contribution to the discussions reinforced CYSCOE’s commitment to international knowledge exchange, regional cooperation, and the promotion of best practices in cyber risk management—key pillars of the cluster’s strategic mission.
