CYRESRANGE connected with DefCamp

📣 One of the main objectives of the #CYRESRANGE project is to build the capacity of #cybersecurity actors to react in a coordinated way to large-scale cybersecurity incidents. The participation at DefCamp 2025, on Nov. 13-14, reflects this by supporting activities that enhance practical skills, collaboration, and readiness across the #infosec community.

hashtag#CYRESRANGE connected naturally with DefCamp’s ecosystem, where practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers work together to advance cybersecurity expertise and strengthen resilience:

⚪#CYRESRANGE was listed as a supporter of the DefCamp Capture the Flag (#DCTF) competition, one of oldest, most shattering and rebellious security CTF competitions in the hashtag#CEE. The competition’s real-world attack scenarios mirror the complexities of #cybersecurity incidents and encourage the hands-on & collaborative learning that the project aims to foster across Europe. 👉 #DCTF was organized and powered by BIT SENTINEL and Orange Romania, members of the #CYRESRANGE consortium.

⚪ #CYRESRANGE also supported the the workshop session “Foundations of GRC: A Practical Introduction with ISO 27001”, delivered on Nov. 12 by Alin Muresan, IT Risk & Cybersecurity Professional specializing in GRC, during the #DefCamp Workshop Series. 🔍 The workshop focused on strengthening governance structures, improving risk management, and ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks, including #NIS2.

These contributions highlight CYRESRANGE’s role in shaping practical, connected, and collaborative training across Europe. The project remains focused on strengthening capabilities and building a unified approach to large-scale cybersecurity readiness.
